Its been a long time, i didn’t visit this blog again. Hehehe . It’s because i’m too busy with my studies. Plus, the network at my college also horrible , gosh ! Anyway , today i would like to share you guys about my trip to Usukan Cove with classmates and also our best lecturers, Sir Dr. Spencer Hendley Mogindol and Madam Siti Zuraini Ramley Alan. It is an academic trip for Tourism and Hosptality course which is 2days and 1night.

Well, i want to give some information about Usukan Cove. Usukan Cove is a bay area on the coast of Kota Belud, which is located adjacent to Kuala Abai, where the jetty to Mantanani Islands is situated. It is nestled as one of the eight beautiful beaches. It takes one and half hour to go to Usukan Cove from Kota Kinabalu which fulfill your journey with scenic view of paddy field, rural neighborhood and Mount Kinabalu picturesque sight. Usukan Cove, encircled by several fishermen’s villages. Usukan Cove offering accomodation facilities and sea sports activities. It also caters for functions and events within its unique and tranquil setting. Besides, there is various attraction in Usukan Cove, rich of corals and marine life, white sandy beaches, clear and soothing calm water and proboscis monkey. Usukan Cove is one of the best gateway leisure in Sabah. Malaysian or even Sabahan should go to this place, you won’t be disappointed guys i give you my words !

Accomodation/Amenities :

Usukan cove offer three types of rooms, which is Family room, Quard room (4 beds),triple room(3 beds).
Each rooms have aircond, pillow and blanket, cupboard, mirror and small table.
They also provide a towel for you :)
There’s Television and volleyball fields.
Please take a note, they only provide you shampoo. So make sure your brings your own stuff okay .

Activities/Attraction :

Usukan Cove is one of the place that rich in natural flora and fauna environment. The sea is blue and clear and clean. It takes 15 minutes to go to Pandan-Pandan Island by using speed boat from Usukan Cove Lodge where their main place to do snorkeling and diving activities. They named the Island Pandan-Pandan because there’s a lot Pandan wild plant at there. It is a small island that will amazed you. The place is clean and comfortable. One of the best attraction are the marine life. Before you go to the Pandan-Pandan Island, the guide will give you briefing how to recognize the healthy coral. We had a chance to snorkeling . The coral are healthy and clean also fishes are extremely beautiful. We also had a chance to plant the coral. Besides, we had a chance to try diving . We are divided into five member for one guide. They teach us how to breath using the tank in the water. It was fun.

Usukan Cove offer marine tours such as snorkeling, diving, fishing, river cruise, adventure tours and other related activities. As we know, Usukan Cove is one of the ecotourism ativities. Ecotourism is now defined as "responsible travel to natural areas that conserves the environment, sustains the well-being of the local people, and involves interpretation and education" (TIES, 2015). They also provide guest the equipment to go to diving and snorkeling such as fin, goggle, tank, life jacket and others. Besides diving and snorkeling, guest can also try to play the banana boat which coat only Rm10.00 or Kayak which cost Rm20.00 Well, i have shared you all things about my experience there, why don’t you all booked to stay there. I guarantee you won’t be disappointed !
